There are four 'house' in the school. Grisham, Basant, Sharad and Shishir. All students from class I upwards are allocated a particular house. Each house has its own 'house uniform' and 'house flag'. House meeting or 'inter house competitions' are held from to time. All students must wear their house uniform on Tuesday and Friday. Each House has faculty members as their house incharges. House captain and Vice-captain are elected/nominated amongst the students of each house. Inter-house competitions are held in literary, cultural and sport fields. Points are awarded to the house winning these competitions. The house with overall highest score is awarded the Best House of the Year Trophy
“Reading is to mind what exercise is to the body”. The school library promotes reading and inculcates the discipline of self study amongst students. The collection of books in the school library range from Short Stories, Poems, Adventure Stories, Books on General Knowledge, General Science, History , Geography ,Encyclopedias, Mathematics , Games And Sports , Languages, Art and Craft etc. The reading club' of the school enhances the reading skills of the students. Class reading corner' is another attempt to encourage the habit of reading as well as inculcate the habit exchange of books amongst the students. Students bring books from their homes for their class reading corner and thus create a library of their own.
